Research

We offer research in public safety related matters, from emergency management, animal welfare to technical rescue.

In particular, our consultant’s have experience in carrying out empirical research and have been published in journals such as Animals, Australian Journal of Emergency Management, Australasian Journal of Trauma & Disaster Studies, and the Journal of Search & Rescue.

All too often consultants who have no credentials or operational experience in emergency management carry out post-event reviews. These reports usually fail to identify key and uncomfortable learnings. When we take on such reviews, we act with integrity and independence to report in the public good as public safety forensic analysts.

Our consultants have led major submissions to government from improvements to civil defence, emergency services and animal welfare; as well as training coroners in New Zealand in water related death investigations based on our international award winning body recovery from water course.
