PSI is offering it’s Flood Worker Safety course at no charge to the people of the UAE, in solidarity of the historic flooding across the Emirates.
With a clean-up well underway and the realization that future floods could strike at any time, PSI Global’s Director An Dr Steve Glassey has announced all those in the UAE can now access our Flood Worker Safety online course at no charge, if enrolled by the end of May 2024.
“The UAE has invested significant time and effort into resilience such as ensuring all government departments have audited business continuity plans against NCEMA standards. This foresight has paid off by mitigating the impacts of the flood. Without such preparations, the floods could have been more severe. As with any event, there is always an opportunity to build back better, and the floods will provide leaders the chance to create world leading resilience from future flood events”.
Eligible people should use the “LOVE-UAE” coupon as part of the online course registration process.
A certificate with QR code verification is issued to all participants who successfully complete the course. The course can be taken in over 60 different languages including Arabic, Hindi, Urdu, Tagalog, Malayalam and Chinese.
