De Australyske Phil Benfield en Garry Goodey waarden de earsten yn har lân om har te kwalifisearjen as sertifisearre SWBA-ynstrukteurs.
Experienced flood water instructors Phil “Tully” Benfield (NSW) and Garry Goodey (QLD) completed the SWBA Instructor course over the past couple of days, culminating in them teaching the SWBA Specialist course under supervision to other rescue professionals from Queensland and New South Wales.
The new instructors were mentored by Instructor Trainers Dr Steve Glassey and Geoff Bray to deliver the 4 hour specialist course on the Nymboida River, NSW.
Further instructor courses are planned for May 2024, including in Spain and Texas.
